Horstmann is listening …
Responding to direct requests from installers, Horstmann Controls
has fitted a longer mains leads to its Zoneplus XL motorised
valve range.
"We always welcome feedback on our products and at recent
trade events such as the PHEX exhibitions, a number of installers
have praised the quality of the Zoneplus XL valves but asked
if it would be possible to fit a longer mains cable," explains
Tim Acton, Horstmann Controls domestic products sales manager.
As a result, new supplies of the valve are now fitted with
a 1.5 metre lead which is a half a metre longer than before,"
he adds.
The new length lead will assist the installer when fitting
valves in tight or difficult to access locations.
Horstmann Controls Zoneplus XL valves are also supplied with
a full 5-year guarantee.
"Horstmann were relatively late entrants to the mature zone
valve market in terms of manufacturing their own design and
specification of valve," explains Tim Acton.
"The five year warranty is intended to offer installers peace-of-mind
and it also demonstrates our confidence in the manufacturing
and design qualities of these products, " he concludes.
Zoneplus XL valves combine advanced electronic controls technology
with a proven fittings design to facilitate easy installation
and maintenance. There are three models in the range with
two, 2 port spring return zone valves - 22mm and 28mm diameter
- and a 22mm diameter, 3 port mid-position valve.
