| New and upgraded products
will be a feature of the Horstmann Controls exhibits at the
2008 PHEX exhibitions.
Aside from its upgraded ChannelPlus electronic programmer
range, Horstmann will be featuring the unique ThermoPlus range
of programmable room ‘stats – now four models
– and a new and upgraded range of water heating controllers.
The completely re-designed and improved range of ChannelPlus
XL programmers and time switches are now easier to use and
easier to install. Key features include an easily read, bright
blue back lit LCD display, menu driven programming and an
automatic clock that is factory pre-set and automatically
adjusts to BST and GMT.
Within the ChannelPlus range the H37 XL model is the only
electronic unit capable of controlling three independent channels
– hot water and two heating zones - while the new H47
XL offers four channel control.
The latest ThermoPlus room ‘stats are suited to both
new build installations or replacement of older style electro-mechanical
thermostats. They are ideal for applications such as local
authority housing, housing associations and social housing.
Each of the four ThermoPlus ‘stats – the latest
addition being the RF Version – have been designed with
ease of use in mind, contrasting high performance and technology
with user friendly features. These include a colour coded,
bright LED warm/cool display, automatic BST/GMT time change,
a frost protection feature and Braille markings for selecting
warm/cool settings. Al are designed to enable the user to
clearly understand and adjust the temperature settings correctly.
There are also 5 pre-installed heating profiles from which
the installer can easily select the preferred programme.
Finally, Horstmann Controls has recently upgraded and re-designed
its range of electric water heating controls, the most radical
being the new Economy 7 Quartz and Electronic 7 immersion
heater controls, both of which have been re-designed to create
a more aesthetically pleasing look while featuring easier
to use displays and controls.
Horstmann Controls will be exhibiting at the PHEX shows scheduled
for West Ham, Belfast, Manchester, Southampton and Chelsea.
